Calling all CENT kid’s club members and friends! We hope you’ll join us on Sunday, July 16 at The CENTer in Mason City from 1 – 4 p.m. for an afternoon of fun!
CENT Credit Union will offer a free family event open to the public on Sunday, July 16 featuring food, games, prizes, tours of Mason City police vehicles and Cerro Gordo County sheriff’s vehicles, and a visit from Mickey, Minnie, and a minion.
This will be the third year CENT has hosted a CENT-a-bration, but this year will mark the unveiling of a new theme for the credit union’s kid’s club savings program. CENT membership is comprised of employment groups including North Iowa health care workers, public employees including police, firefighters, and teachers, cement workers from Lehigh, and other “true heroes” of the community, and now CENT’s kid’s club will reflect that. The program is being renamed the True Heroes Club, encouraging children throughout North Iowa to respect and honor these important community members while being money-smart. Accounts for CENT’s youngest members offer a rate of 0.5% APY and are available to those 13 and under. While the CENT-a-bration is an event marking the change to the True Heroes Club, it is free and open to the public.
